Breathing New Life into EVCC: Rework’s Reupholstery Expertise
We were excited to be part of the transformation at Edgewood Valley Country Club (EVCC) in Burr Ridge. As a member-owned club with a rich history dating back to 1910, EVCC aimed to honor its roots while embracing a refreshed, contemporary feel. Partnering with our sister companies, Living Revolution and Custom Crafters, we supported the club’s iconic Tudor-style clubhouse expansion—adding 10,000 square feet of enhanced dining and event spaces.
At Rework, we focused on preserving and enhancing EVCC’s original furnishings through our expert reupholstery services. By refreshing conference room chairs, boardroom seating, and pieces in the private dining area, we gave these timeless classics a sophisticated update while staying true to their original craftsmanship. This sustainable approach not only maintained the club’s historic charm but also aligned with their goal of being environmentally conscious. Choosing reupholstery was a no-brainer—it honored tradition, prioritized sustainability, and provided a beautiful, modern refresh.
The renovation’s slogan, “Elevate Edgewood,” captured the project’s vision perfectly. Every piece we reimagined was thoughtfully crafted to complement the club’s heritage while embracing contemporary elegance. Through collaboration with EVCC members, the architectural team, and our partners, the result is a refined, welcoming space where classic style and modern sophistication are blended.
